When a desperate patient turns up at the family home one day seeking Will's help, they bring a horrifying entity with them that seeks to prey on their suffering and vulnerabilities. Sophie Thatcher and Vivien Lyra Blair play Sadie and Sawyer, sisters grieving the recent loss of their mother and whose therapist father Will (Chris Messina) has emotionally alienated himself from. The BoogeymanĪfter terrifying us all with unexpected hit Barbarian last year, 20th Century Studios' next horror outing – an adaptation of Stephen King's The Boogeyman – looks like it'll bring the frights to theaters as one of the new horror movies to land this year.
